Privacy policy

Last updated August 28, 2026. How Desk Setup, published by 4 Life Health Wealth LLC, handles information when you use desksetup.tradeflareapp.com.

Who we are

Desk Setup is an independent publication operated by 4 Life Health Wealth LLC. Contact for privacy requests: gary@4lifehealthwealth.com. We do not operate a walk-in office. There is no separate corporate privacy officer; the publisher is the contact.

What this site collects

We do not run a member account system. We do not currently install a first-party analytics product (no Google Analytics tag as shipped). We do not run a newsletter signup that stores your address on this server. There is no cookie wall and no popup asking you to “accept marketing.”

Information that may still be processed:

Server and host logs. When you load a page, the hosting provider (WebHostingHub / Apache, or whatever host serves this static export) may record IP address, user agent, date/time, referrer, and the URL requested. These logs are used to operate, secure, and debug the site.
Email you send us. If you write gary@4lifehealthwealth.com or use the contact form (which opens your mail application), we receive whatever you include in that message. We keep it as long as needed to respond or to keep a correction record.
Affiliate click tracking. If you follow an affiliate link, third parties record that click so a commission can be paid if you purchase. See below.

Cookies and similar technology

This site may set a small number of first-party cookies that are strictly necessary for the host to operate (for example load balancing or security). We do not use a pop-up cookie banner.

Third-party / CJ tracking. Outbound links to Branch Furniture — and the shared /go/branch, /go/epson, and /go/canon paths — are affiliate links. They are intended to be tracked by CJ Affiliate (CJ, also referred to as Commission Junction; operated in connection with Conversant / a Publicis company) and by the merchant. When you click those links, CJ and the merchant may:

Set or read cookies on your device
Use pixel tags, redirect URLs, or similar identifiers
Record that you came from Desk Setup so they can attribute a sale and pay a commission
Combine that click with their own account, checkout, and advertising systems under their own policies

We do not control CJ’s or the merchants’ cookies. Their use of data is governed by their privacy policies, not this one. You should read those policies before purchasing.

Affiliate URLs currently point at merchant homepages (https://www.branchfurniture.com/, https://epson.com/usa, https://www.usa.canon.com/) until live CJ deep links are installed. Tracking cookies from CJ will not function as intended until those live links are in place.

What we do not do (today)

We do not sell mailing lists.
We do not sell personal information for money in the ordinary sense. Affiliate attribution may be “sharing” for advertising purposes under some US state laws — that sharing is limited to the click you chose to make.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We do not require you to create an account to read the guides.

How long we keep information

Host logs follow the host’s retention settings. Email is kept as long as a conversation or legal record reasonably requires, then deleted or archived in ordinary mail practice. We do not receive a copy of what you buy from a merchant; CJ reports commissions to us, which may include aggregated or order-level data under CJ publisher reports, not your full payment card details.

Your choices

Do not click affiliate links if you do not want CJ or the merchant to attribute a visit.
Use browser controls to block third-party cookies; attribution may fail and we may not be paid. The informational guides remain free to read.
Industry opt-out pages such as the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative may offer additional choices for some advertising cookies. They do not disable every merchant cookie.
Email gary@4lifehealthwealth.com to ask what we hold that you sent us, or to ask us to delete that correspondence where we are not required to keep it.

California and other US state rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, delete, or correct personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information for cash. To make a request, email gary@4lifehealthwealth.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We will need enough information to identify the email you sent us; we cannot look up a CJ click from this site’s database because we do not operate one.

International readers

Content is written for US local businesses. If you visit from elsewhere, your data may be processed in the United States by us and by our host. We are not offering EU-specific products. Do not send us special-category data.

Security

No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Use HTTPS (this site is intended to be served only over HTTPS in production). Do not send passwords or payment card numbers to gary@4lifehealthwealth.com.

Changes

If we add analytics, a newsletter, or additional ad pixels, we will update this policy before or when those tools go live. The date at the top will change.
